Girl 32

I have a confession. Come winter, I turn into a scarf and glove junkie. Cold weather dressing can get so drab, same old coat every day. But throw in a few different scarves and gloves and you have unlimited looks! Last year, I came across girl32. I'm hooked. The scarves have a little zippered pocket you can stash your cell phone or ipod in. And the gloves, the tips of the thumb and forefinger flip back. Perfect when you need to dial the phone but want you hands to stay toasty warm. They even have hats you can pull your ponytail through. They thought of everything. Here's the best part, they're ON SALE!!!

Marian Bantjes

My Marian Bantjes Fox River Paper Sundance promo came in the mail today. I love her work!!! By hand or vector, those flowing lines are just beautiful. Her style is very comforting.

You can get your own copy of the Fox River Paper's Marian Bantjes promo on their website: www.foxriverpaper.com.

"One day, in designing a poster, I made a beautiful "N" in pursuit of an idea I was developing. I fell in love with the N, but when I started to work with it in the design, well, it just wasn't cutting it in context. But I was so in love with it that I kept trying to either rationalize the concept for the sake of saving the N, or come up with another concept that would use it in a better way. At some point I realized that I was trying to build something that didn't or shouldn't exist around an N, simply because I had fallen in love with it (and spent a long time making it). I realized that it was necessary to scrap the N; to walk away from it, or I would never be able to move ahead with the design. Thinking about it some days later I realized that the N had parallels in my life, and represented decisions that we must occasionally make in our lives. We reach a cross roads where we realize that something that we love is holding use back, and we face this terrible dilemma; to leave the comfort and safety of this thing we have so invested ourselves in for the risk of an alternate future... or not?"-- Marian Bantjes

luv bugs

These cute little buttons feature the artwork of my very talented nephew, Devin. Inspired by Valentine's Day, these 'luv bugs' all sport little hearts on their antennas. Bugs can be creepy, but not these little guys. Order a set and enjoy the 'luv' infestation!

Love Fizz

I love how these came out. This started as a little heart doodle I did. I scanned it and vectorized it. The little hearts and dots have a fizzy feel, like carbonated love! I really like how the strawberry pink and lemon yellow work together. They have a feminine, sweet, sophisticated and playful feel. I also did a set of gift tags. I can't wait to use these all together on the next gift I give!
